From the Airport

From the airport follow the main road in the direction of Oia. Approaching Abelonas Houses you will pass by Soulis Hotel, Almyra and Vrachia. About 20 meters after Vrachia you will see the Pelagos sign, there turn left on the unpaved road, and at the next junction turn right (Foinikia sign) and continue for 300 metres until you see a big two-storey grey building on your right hand. Welcome to Abelonas Houses!

From the Port

Santorini Island

Santorini or Thira is the world-famous Greek island with the unique natural landscape as formed by its active volcano. The successive eruptions of the volcano also created the complex of the islands of Santorini: Thira (Santorini), Thirasia, Aspronisi, Palea and Nea Kameni. The volcano, the Caldera as it is known, has left its traces on the beautiful beaches of the island with the volcanic ash and the enchanting red and black rocks.

Fira, Firostefani, Oia are some of the settlements of Santorini that enjoy the stunning view of the Caldera. Especially, Oia is famous for the most enchanting sunset. When the sun sets the island is illuminated with different colors and takes on a different look.

The vineyards and the white houses also characterize the landscape and the experience of Santorini. In such a traditional vineyard with "kouloures" (the traditional forming of vines in circles) is the Abelonas Houses where you will have the opportunity to stay and experience the authentic Santorini. But also the "tourist" Santorini is only 2 km or 10 minutes by car where you can enjoy the sights, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops of Oia.

How to get here

Santorini island is easily accessible either by air from Athens and other European cities or by ferry from the port of Piraeus (Athens), and several Greek islands.
